The Actions

Silty and Mo aka The Actions are a Bristol based Electronic/Alt/Rock duo with a Dark/Psych edge. They played hundreds of gigs including opening slots for R.E.M., Green Day, Garbage, Distillers. Their very first single 'The Real Thing' was included in the soundtrack of the MTV US slasher movie My Super Psycho Sweet 16.

Introduced and supported by Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music, they picked up support by the likes of Gary Crowley on BBC London, Simon Raymonde (Cocteau Twins, Bella Union), Mark Ryan, Matt Baty, Frankie Francis on Amazing Radio and John Kennedy on X-Radio.

After testing the F-AudioLabs for a while, we’ve decided to open an old session and apply only those plugins on 4 stems of our song : voice, bass, guitars and drums, trying to explore the potential of the plugins, pushing them really hard. The song is called ‘Buoyant’ and the result is quite great!
